Children in school

In 2004, CBT created a way to close the learning gap in underserved communities. Tutors are recruited at local colleges and provide free, one-on-one and small group earning opportunities to students ages four through 12, once a week at one of CBT’s sites. Twelve-week sessions, each fall and spring, are formatted so students spend time on academic work and in a wide variety of activities, including many that help build a young learner’s sense of community and civic engagement
